Award Amount: $500
Deadline: May 1st
Eligibility:
- Must be a senior at Miller School District.
- Must be attending a post-secondary institution (college, university, trade school, or technical school) in the upcoming academic year.
- Must submit a completed application, including an essay, by the deadline.
Essay Requirement:
Submit a 500–750 word essay on one of the following topics:
- Personal Responsibility & Hard Work: How have you demonstrated self-reliance and perseverance in your academic and personal life?
- The Value of Limited Government & Individual Freedom: Discuss how these principles have influenced your future career goals and aspirations.
- The Role of Family & Faith in Success: Explain how your family and/or faith have shaped your values and prepared you for post-secondary education.
- The American Dream & Opportunity: Describe what the American Dream means to you and how you plan to contribute to your community and country in the future.
Selection Criteria:
- Essay quality, originality, and alignment with the given themes.
- Demonstrated commitment to hard work, leadership, and community involvement.
- Academic effort and career aspirations.
Notification of Award:
The scholarship recipient will be notified by May 15th
